Join Our Team as an Area Sales Manager in London!

Are you a driven, customer-focused sales professional looking for your next challenge? Look no further! Prolojik Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to handle customer accounts primarily in London, with some within the M25 and Home Counties.

 

**The Role:**

As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

– Developing Electrical Consultant specifications and handling projects through to order with Electrical Contractors.

– Achieving sales targets for the territory.

– Driving activity in the full commercial cycle, from uncovering opportunities to securing orders.

– Identifying and nurturing strategic opportunities in the commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.

– Conducting new product presentations and informing customers of regulatory changes.

– Progressing leads from various sources.

– Constructing and presenting opportunity forecasts at sales team meetings.

– Maintaining records of activity on the EMS system.

– Operating as a collaborative member of the sales team and supporting team initiatives.

 

**About You:**

– Proven successful specification sales experience.

– Previous industry experience.

Commissioning Engineers

 

We currently have multiple vacancies for lighting control commissioning engineers to join our well-established, growing company.  Whether you are an experienced lighting controls engineer or have recently completed an electrical apprenticeship and are at the start of your career, we’d like to hear from you!

 

Ideally, you will be able to:

  • Work independently for most of the role but also as part of a team.
  • Use a laptop and our commissioning software as your primary tools.
  • Read and interpret technical guides, drawings, and schematics.
  • Work to tight deadlines.
  • Communicate directly with our clients to advise them of project progress, and highlight any remedial actions needed by them.
  • Construct detailed post-visit reports.
  • Operate with a problem-solving mindset and approach.

About you:

You need to have completed an electrical qualification, covering 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.  If you are experienced in lighting controls (addressing DALI control devices and lighting) with a knowledge of IP network interfaces, that will be advantageous.

You should be a CSCS card holder, and preferably the Gold ECS card.  You should have good communication skills for client liaison and report writing which is an essential part of the job, and you should be someone focused on offering excellent customer service!

A lot of our work is in London you will need to be within commuting distance, and also be available to work in other locations within the UK as required.  Additionally, we require our Engineers to be available to work at least one Saturday per month as overtime, and other overtime as required is necessary for this role.
